JULIA A. PALMER
Founder & Trial Attorney
Julia is a seasoned trial lawyer with more than a decade of experience litigating complex matters in state and federal courts nationwide. Her practice focuses on business and commercial litigation, real estate disputes, contract and fiduciary matters, and high-stakes cases where strategy, judgment, and creativity make the difference between a good outcome and a great one.
What sets Julia apart is her ability to identify creative solutions other lawyers may miss. She approaches every matter by first developing a deep understanding of her client’s business—its processes, goals, priorities, and risk tolerance—and then crafting a bespoke legal strategy aligned with what truly matters to that client.
Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach, Julia builds tailored strategies designed to resolve disputes efficiently while preserving leverage and long-term business value.
She is particularly experienced in managing complex, document-intensive litigation and developing discovery strategies that keep costs controlled without sacrificing effectiveness.
Before founding Honeycomb Legal, Julia practiced at a large regional law firm, where she handled nationally significant litigation for major corporations. She previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable John Preston Bailey, Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia, and began her career at a boutique litigation firm in Atlanta. She has also taught trial advocacy at Emory University School of Law.
Throughout her career, Julia has represented clients in disputes involving:

A significant portion of Julia’s prior practice involved defending manufacturers and businesses in high-exposure product liability cases, including class actions. In that work, she collaborated directly with engineers, designers, and corporate leadership to develop litigation strategy, prepare expert analysis, and protect the record for appeal. She brings that same level of sophistication, preparation, and strategic thinking to every client—regardless of size.
